Destinations
We would recommend you fly to Florence (Firenze) Airport. It is the nearest to the venue, about an hours drive and also the cheapest to fly to. However you can also fly to Pisa.
Airlines
You can get flights to Florence from London City airport during weekdays on British Airways, or using Vueling on weekends from London Gatwick. If you book a a few months in advance it should only cost you around £150 return. You can also compare on Skyscanner.
By Rental Car (from Florence Airport)
The easiest way to get around Tuscany is to rent a car from Florence airport. It is costs around £30 per day if you book in advance. We recommend you don’t use Avis or Hertz if possible as there were massive queues to pick ups cars when we there.

Its around 1,000 miles each way, but an amazing drive across France and through the Alps into Northern Italy. It takes around 15hrs drive time, so 2 full days each way.

Getting the train from London to Florence is possible and can be booked on Rail Europe (Voyages SNCF)
There are a few options to get there – see Seat 61. Seems fastest is 3 legs to the journey: 1. London to Paris Eurostar 2. Paris to Milan train 3. Local train from Milan to Florence. You would then need to get picked up from Florence or rent a car (see above).
